My father pretty much made it possible for everything. I owe him a lot. It’s been terrific as a kid, he was a wonderful father and now as a partner, a wonderful mentor. I’m sure I could have made it, but it has certainly been amazing to work with him, help him and have him lead the way. We’ve complimented each other really well, and he’s brought out the best in me.”

This year, Dr. Adrian Greenstein is one of a group of extraordinary doctors to receive the prestigious Jacobi Medallion award for service to Mount Sinai hospital. We had the pleasure of interviewing Dr. Adrian along with his son, Dr. Alex Greenstein, while producing a video featuring this year’s honorees.

It is rare to find such exceptional talent in the form of a kind, warmhearted father-son team. To this day, Drs. Greenstein work side by side in clinic and in the operating room. Their offices are right across the hall from one another. Their pride in each other is apparent throughout their work and in their words the other’s achievements.
